Our Adult Programs
Combat Hapkido
Martial arts are well known for their stress relieving benefits. The
emphasis on mind-body training goes far beyond the benefits of standard,
health club type exercise programs.
Our workouts are a great way to get in shape. Martial art is like
an exercise program with a bonus! You learn to defend yourself
while you get in shape.
Our classes give you confidence.
Nothing can take the place of the security in knowing that you
can defend yourself.
What we teach you could save your life.
At our school, everything we teach is reality based. Our
instructor’s work very hard to ensure that most any situation you might
encounter is covered in the classroom under very safe learning
conditions. A varied focus on striking, kicking, grappling, joint
manipulation, and weapons make for a well rounded self defense arsenal.
Needless to say we will make sure you will always be prepared.
Safety is a key component of our class. Students practice
martial arts in a safe and supervised environment. Students are able to
adjust the curriculum to meet their needs and comfort level. Activities
can be modified and adjusted to safely challenge students.
The reason our program is so successful is because we make the classes
fun and exciting. We learned a long time ago that if people are having
fun, they learn much faster.
Arnis
Arnis is a form of the Filipino Combative Arts. Punong Guro Hufana is
the founder of the HTAI system and is taught by Mr. Tibbetts at 3-Tigers
Martial Arts. FMA classes are separate from the Adult and Junior Tiger
program. FMA training is not a mixed martial arts program. FMA is a
combative art, a complete system of self -defense, and a standalone
fighting system. FMA training, as taught by Punong Guro Hufana, is based
on classical movements, concepts and philosophy of the Filipino
Combative Arts. Admittedly, there a few areas of training that have been
modified in order to effectively adapt into today's fighting scenarios.
The strength of the Filipino Martial Arts is in its ability to conform
and adapt into any combative and street fighting situation. There are
four major ranges taught in Punong Guro's style of FMA - Largo Mano
(long range), Medio (mid range), Corto (close quarters), and Dumog
(Filipino ground fighting).
