1st Stripe - Basics & Kicks Brown Belt: Blocks & Strikes: Upset Palm Heel Block (Reaching back palm up and rotating when brought in front of the body for the block) Knife Hand Side High Low Block (Bottom chambered hand is palm up and rotates to final position for block) Double Knife Hand Low Block (Both hands pointing at roughly the same spot - palms facing each other) Upset Ridge Hand (Chamber and rotation when demonstrated) Kicks: Front Kick to Round Kick (pivot must be correct, and so should the back stance after) Outer Crescent Kick (These kicks are done in a back stance with heels aligned, landing in a back stance) Jump Side Kick (Only can move one stance - land and pause to chamber double low block) Stances: Rear Stance (Cat Stance - Like a back stance with the lead foot brought back to be on the ball of the foot) Focus on the back stance sections of the form when learning basics for consistency. Primary Goals for Advanced Level - (Focus on timing, power, chambers, rotations, and levels re-chambering technique) 2nd Stripe: Brown Belt Form

Brown Belt Board Breaks are a Reverse Elbow - #2 Font Kick or Back Elbow - Step Reverse Side Kick. Board Breaks must be performed with the left and right hand, using a sparring boot for the Front Kick only. Students have 3 opportunities to break the board per hand.
