Taekwondo Classes for Ages 6-12 & Classes for Teen to Adult
The parents of our students notice these 5 essential benefits their children learned from attending our classes: 1. Our reward system improves children's self-esteem. Martial arts are not like team sports because the emphasis is on developing the individual's self-esteem, not the team's winning record. The belt system is the key. When kids earn their belts it gives them a great sense of accomplishment that improves the way they feel about themselves. 2. Martial arts teaches children discipline. One of the things parents appreciate most about our classes is the improvement in their child's self-discipline. We have an excellent staff of patient instructors who love to work with children, but arealso very clear about limits. We enforce good rules of behavior in class, andwe expect the same good behavior at home and in school. 3. Our activities channel children's energy. Many doctors prescribed our school for treatment for ADD and aggressive behavior because of the positive outlet gives the kids for all their energy. 4. We enhance children's confidence. We believe confidence is one of the most important things we can give kids. That's why every class we teach has confidence-building drills included. 5. We teach children Bully-Defense and Stranger Awareness skills. Our program safely teaches practical and proven self-defense methods. We teach our students to find the confidenceand skills to walk away from a bully. In some cases, we even teach students how to protect themselves from physical harm. |

Testimonials From Our Proud Parents and Students
"As a classroom teacher, I have seen the benefits that martial arts have on students' confidence, dedication, and overall character, both in and out of the classroom. Brent is a master motivator who instills morals that inspire young people to become lifelong learners. I am very confident in Mr. Tibbetts ability to instruct with the utmost professionalism, passion, and respect." Ryan Carlstrom
"My son now 14 started doing martial arts at 3-tigers at the age of 6. He has
not only developed martial Arts skills but this program has instilled great values
and morals in him. As reflected in his recent Spokane Pace Youth Award. This
award is for outstanding Character. only 1 student from each of 49 schools is nominated.
3-Tigers and Mr Tibbetts has played a key roll in developing this in
my son. Spokane is blessed to have such an outstanding teacher and mentor.
Thank you 3-Tigers" Joanna Maule Owner of Company Ballet
"My daughter has been with 3 Tigers Martial Arts since age 4, she is now 11. In her 7+ years, she has competed in several tournaments, with nothing less than a 2nd place finish, winning back to back Grand Champion in kata and placing 1st in sparring vs. boys ages 12-13 years old. She didn't do this on her own, and certainly didn't do it from my instruction. The instructors (I have not seen a woman instructor in 7 years, and there has never been a sign in sheet) strike the perfect balance of discipline and fun. If there is one thing I've learned in my 19 years in education, there must be a balance in these two areas. If you are looking to train the next Bruce Lee, this probably isn't the studio. But, if you're wanting your child to learn self discipline, get quality instruction in Taekwondo, and build self esteem, this is the place for you." Aaron McLean
"Love this place! Great atmosphere for kids and a great team of instructors! Would recommend to anyone looking to get there kids into martial arts." Anthony Smith
"We have been attending classes for about 2 years now and it has become an important factor in the development of our child. The classes are smaller in size which allows more one on one time for learning, gaining confidence, and building solid foundations in not only a sport but in life skills. I have seen a tremendous change in my child's overall behaviors. He looks forward to going to class and earning his stripes. Master Tibbetts truly cares about each kid and their families! Win/win for all!!" Danielle Marsh
