1st Stripe - Basics & Kicks Orange Belt: Blocks & Strikes: Knife Hand Low Block (Over leading knee when in a front stance) Double Knife Hand Block (Swing like a baseball bat -stomach hand home positions Palm up) Hammer Fist (Starts palm against ear - rotates to hit with the pinky side of the fist) Kicks: Jump Front Kick (one stance only forward - measure) Chambers are now more focused on enforcement. This element can lead to frustration for the student later on when it is not corrected, particularly if the proper part of the foot is not used for contact. Kicks need to be re-chambered for balance and power. Students must always pre-pivot for kicks to help with proper biomechanics and hip health. Etiquette: Handshakes, Raising your hand, Eye Contact, Bowing with eyes up and feet together Home Position: The Hand is Always Palm down before moving to the hip or stomach in almost all cases. 2nd Stripe: Orange Belt Form

4th Stripe: Board Breaks
Orange Belt Board Breaks are a #2 Round Kick. Board Breaks must be done with the left and right foot with a sparring boot on. Students have 3 opportunities to break the board per hand.
