1st Stripe - Basics & Kicks Purple Belt: Blocks & Strikes: High Low Block - (Blocking knee and Shoulder - chamber and then one block -right hand at the Shoulder) Back Elbow - (Pushing chamber hand back to enforce elbow) Vertical Punch - (Thumb up when punching) Side High - Low Block- (Low block and Inner Forearm Block in front of body) Spear Hand - (Finger Jab - striking with the finger tips) Circular Outer Knife Hand Block - (Palm up, rotating into the finished block) Kicks: Inner Crescent Kick (Spin to closed position, back facing next target for side kick) Outer Crescent Kick (Big arc by turning kicking leg knee toward support leg from a front stance) 2nd Stripe: Purple Belt Form

4th Stripe: Board Breaks
Purple Belt Board Breaks are a Knife Hand Strike - Horizontal Elbow- Palm Heel Strike. Board Breaks must be performed with the left and right hand, using a sparring glove, for the Knife Hand Strike only. Students have 3 opportunities to break the board per hand.
